Before I get out of bed each day I read CNN online. I approach the day better knowing what has gone on in the world overnight. The Courier-Journal is left for important pop-up messages on my phone. Before bed is reserved for reading a good biography on my Kindle.
My playlists include everything from jazz and R&B to old-school hip hop, rock and outlaw country. There’s something for everyone in my catalog of tunes.
I’m always searching for all the latest documentaries on Amazon and Netflix. However, if you know me well, you’ll know I’ve never missed an episode of Survivor in 31 seasons. If you’re wondering if I would ever try out for Survivor, the answer is No! I’m way too nice and I’m known for being brutally honest. I wouldn’t survive a day.
I’ve recently found a new interest in sustainable living off the grid. I’m not sure it is totally for me, as I do enjoy my electronic devices and other such luxuries of life, but it is interesting to research ways to conserve energy and utilize more of the earth’s natural resources.
I can’t wait for late spring and summer, where each Saturday morning you can find me at the Farmer’s Market nibbling on samples of delicious locally prepared treats and purchasing fresh vegetables and fruit for the week.
